The Universal Church of Gravity is based on the theory that there are only three unanswerable questions in life.
They are:
1. Is there a Supreme Being (God)?
2. What happens to our essence of life
when we die?
3. What is Gravity?*
Questions two and three are absolutely unanswerable, but the answer to question one is often given as, "All you have to do is look up into the sky at night. How could all of that come into existence without some type of a supreme controller?" That seems like a reasonable response since there are two trillion galaxies, with each having 100 billion stars that must be kept under control. If a supreme controller is doing that unfathomably complex job, why did the God-like manipulator of the universe allow the huge number of unspeakable, holocaust-like incidents to occur since the dawn of mankind? The answer to that question is obvious. No sentient God exists that looks over us and the Universe(s). There is no controller or manipulator other than Gravity.
* There are three other powerful forces in the Universe, but they they can be quantified, whereas Gravity remains a mystery. The other forces are,
Electromagnetism, Weak Nuclear Force and Strong Nuclear Force.
Because Gravity exists every where in the universe, it has an effect on the construction and destruction of stars, nebulae and galaxies. The infinite number of shapes and sizes of astronomical structures exists because Gravity strength varies throughout the universe. Above is a photograph of two random chunks (Named: Ultima Thule) of material that were drawn toward each other until they collided. Because the Gravity of each object was minimal, rather than bounce off each other, they remained attached after the collision.
A Brief Version Of Our Fact Based Bible
The Beginning
I. In the Beginning, there was total darkness. Hidden in the darkness, there existed a singularity, and this singularity contained unimaginable, indescribable power. Billions of earth years later, this singularity would be called God by the humans that evolved to live on planet earth, a small globe that orbits a small star at the edge of a common galaxy. This singularity consisted of compacted matter so dense that its weight and mass could never be estimated, nor would humans ever be able to determine its exact size or age. The Supreme Being residing in this singularity, the first Black Hole (Gravity), decided to make the dark and empty universe a playground, so it triggered an explosion to enlighten and populate the darkness of space.
II. When the explosion occurred about thirteen billion years ago, the singularity broke into stardust that was expelled in all directions at a rate nearly equal to the speed of light. Along with the stardust were billions of tiny Black Holes, which were small pieces of Gravity. The Black Holes, which cannot be seen in the darkness of space, immediately began to draw in particles of stardust even while being flung to the far reaches of space, because that is what Gravity does. No one would ever know how Gravity draws in material, but scholars would be able to describe its power. Because of the pull of Gravity, and the lateral movement of the Black Holes and stardust, particles began swirling around the Black Holes, and galaxies emerged.
III. Although each Black Hole would forever be a portion of God, they retained some individuality, and thus, the galaxies were not mirror images of each other. Instead, they developed independent shapes and formed clusters, and the clusters formed strings. A diversity of shapes that would be unequaled resulted and a multitude of laws of Physics were enacted.
IV. The magic of Gravity came to rule what appeared to be chaos. The laws of physics that brought about life in its many forms around the universe are so precise and undeniable that humans are able to predict activity in the cosmos with ease in some circumstances, but so far, astrophysicists have only sipped from the well of knowledge that is Gravity.
V. It took billions of years for the dust circling these bits of God to coalesce into rocks, and eventually stars and planets. The organized chaos caused some satellites to have satellites, some rocks to never evolve into globe-like bodies and some dust to never evolve into rocks. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for the results of the Big Bang, but everything happened based on the laws of Physics, known and unknown. Throughout the process, the Black Holes drew in enough dust and debris to create a yet to be understood engine of energy at their centers that caused the already created satellites to be driven away from them. This action stunted the growth of the Black Holes, and although all of the material in the universe continued to thrust out at an accelerating speed from the original point of God/Gravity, the galaxies stabilized. It would seem that order had come from the chaos, but it was only temporary. At the outer reaches of the Universe, some of the first galaxies are being absorbed by their Black Holes and will eventually be compacted into mini singularities. It is anticipated that once all of the galaxies have been compacted, these mini Black Holes (parts of Gravity/God) will be drawn together again to reform the original singularity to await the next whim of the Supreme Being.
SECTION TWO
Gravity and Humankind
I. Of all the species that have developed on planet earth, humans represent the only one that experiences self-awareness. Other living things are not sentient and have no ability to imagine a God or a Supreme Being. With typical human arrogance, many believe that the God of the cosmos, what Gravitists call Gravity, directs their daily lives and assists them in decision-making. They believe that Gravity hears their prayers and decides whether to grant them their wishes or not, and if not, there must be a good reason. To think that way would be to believe that God created everything in the cosmos only for each of us. It is more likely that there are billions of other populations of living things of all types in other galaxies left on their own to develop, live and go extinct, as we surely will. By giving a little thought to the creation, destruction, movement, designed chaos and general activity of the cosmos, it ought to become clear that the Supreme Being has little interest in our lives, which last a minuscule period in the time line of humankind, and will be barely measurable in the time line of the universe.
II. A free thinker was heard to say, “When we die, our bodies decay and become dust. If we have a soul, and I cannot prove that we do or we do not, it leaves our body and becomes part of the cosmos. Perhaps it becomes Anti-mater or Dark Mater or an invisible cloud of thought.” One could add to that thought that our soul, if we have a soul, could become part of God/Gravity. The concept of an afterlife in heaven or hell is manmade and cannot be depended upon as valid, unless one believes that God guided the hand that first put the concept down on papyrus. This, again, presupposes that God is watching over each one of us on a daily basis.
III. There exists a parallel belief with the theory of Gravity as God and the Christian faith’s dogma that is open to discussion. The Christian faith teaches that there is a triune God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, which are one and the same. If God can be split into parts, which, by the way, is contrary to the prime belief of Islam with over a billion followers, why could he not be split into billions of pieces, as is the theory of Gravitism wherein each Black Hole is a portion of God? The Christians do not represent the majority of the world population with their belief in a triune God; some populations believe in only one God and some believe in multiple Gods. Still, it is interesting that they follow a belief that is a basic tenant of Gravitism.
